Hether is here with their newest album play it pretty. The album starts off with "the living eye" where we are being introduced to Hether's world, which proceeds with a "i won't kill you" a much slower track with soft vocals, then we fan favorite "photograph" with sweet sentimental lyrics about not being with someone anymore and reminiscing on that time with them. My favorite thing about Hether and play it pretty is how every track is different either in the biggest ways, or the smallest ways which shows their individualism as an artist. "fishy" "chem bath" and "pretty girl gag" show that so well. There's something for everyone on play it pretty. "i tried" one of my favorite tracks on the album has the perfect guitar and drum balance, but also would be such a fun song to hear live. Hether's passion for music shines in play it pretty and this album is something you'll play on repeat.
