"This was the first piece I created after seven years of not painting. I was very unhappy with it for the longest time and I felt as if it was unfinished or not enough. I completed more pieces before I realized that it was in fact a finished piece. This is now one of my most favorite pieces."

"This is my second most recent painting and the first I have not thrown away. Normally I throw away the art I am unhappy with, but after several complaints from family and friends, I am learning to not, despite the many mistakes that were made when painting this. Every time I look at it, I remember that the canvas was originally bigger, there were two people in the painting, there were even some flowers. It’s sort of a puzzle piece...maybe I will complete it...probably not..."
